Why I Started Speed Tweaks
Let’s face it: if fixing modern cars was as simple as ‘plugging in a scanner and letting the screen tell you what to swap,’ we’d all be sipping lemonade while the robots did the heavy lifting. Real diagnostics is a high-octane detective game, and I’m here to lay down the battle plans.
- To show that it’s not just "plug it in and the computer tells you what’s wrong" (spoiler: it definitely doesn't).
- To help techs and DIYers with straightforward diagnostics using simple, real-world tools.
- To have some serious fun in the high-pressure, knuckle-busting rush of a real garage.

I started working on vehicles when I was 5 on my grandparents’ farm. That’s where I learned to be a problem solver, not just a spanner swinger.
Fast forward near 40 years, and I still hate the motor trade 😀.
